Off the beaten path: St.Lucia

St.Lucia is a Caribbean island with two cone-shaped peaks of the twin Pitons, where, despite its small population, two islanders won Nobel prizes, and where the endemic parrot Jacquot lives. This island's main industry is tourism, so there are no real off the beaten path destinations, however there are a couple of curious places like the drive-in volcano with its sulphur baths, the Pigeon Island nature reserve, nice hiking trails in the rainforest and a lot of snorkeling.
