busan dog cafeSouth Korean Dog Cafe in Busan is a place where you can spend some time in the company of about twenty dogs of different breeds and sizes.

Dog Cafe was inspired by the appearance of the cat cafes in Japan, where tired and irritated businessman would come to relax in the company of fluffy purring kitties. This idea was successfully adopted by other Asian countries, including South Korea, where it was expressed in the form of Dog cafe. Busan is a busy city with small apartments and hectic schedule, where owning a dog is considered a luxury, and this cafe was exactly what the city needed.

The cafe is situated on top of a pet shop, and is a paradise for dog lovers – once you go inside, you are immediately greeted by happy doggies waiting to get your attention – there are Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Dalmatians, Pekingese, and other breeds, jumping on you, fighting each other for your attention, barking, peeing wherever they want, and having a jolly good time. While you are greeted by the dogs, a waiter will prepare a table for you where you can dine in the company of four-legged friends.

A visit to this canine paradise costs about $7, which includes a coffee or a smoothie and a pastry. The dogs at the cafe are strays or rescues from the pet shop, however they behave well enough to not do any serious damage. You can spend as much time as you wish in the cafe, and the longer you stay, the harder it will be for you to leave all those cute animals. Although you will definitely smell like a dog after leaving the place, it is definitely worth experiencing!
