Off the beaten path: Vanuatu

Vanuatu, the archipelago of 83 islands, known as New Hebrides in the past, is a rural, but a very interesting country. The country itself is quite off the beaten path, and there are several things to do for the adventure seekers: learning about the weird cargo cult of John Frum, try lap-lap, the national dish; meet the only 3 saltwater crocodiles of the place, take pictures of many locals, who love being photographed; check out the exploding volcanoes at night, try out the most primitive way of bungee jumping and more.
